Chamber Music Gala, June 12, 8 PM |
|
The Nashua Chamber Orchestra presents its annual Chamber Music Gala on Saturday evening, June 12th, 8:00 PM, at the Milford Town Hall. This concert brings together some of the area's top musicians in a program of classical chamber music, followed by an extra-special reception. Concert pianist George Lopez has put together an exciting program with cellist Harel Gietheim, and NCO's Concert Master, violinist Beth Welty.
The concert program includes Mozart’s Piano Trio No. 6 in G Major; and three pieces of Robert Schumann: Violin Sonata in A Minor, “Fantasiestücke”, Op. 73 for cello and piano, and “Theme and Variations” from Op. 13, for piano solo. The concert will conclude with the monumental Mendelssohn D Minor Piano Trio, Op. 49.
