Eunha Basu

2024-2025 Season

Eunha Basu, from Bedford, Massachusetts, is a 9th grader at The Winsor School. Eunha has won top prizes since the age of six at numerous competitions at the state, regional, and international levels, including top prizes at Ettlingen International Piano Competition, Kaufman International Youth Piano Competition, Steinway Piano Competition, Chopin International Piano Competition (Hartford, CT), Oberlin International Piano Festival Competition, New England Piano Teachers Association, and multiple first place wins at Bay State (Massachusetts State) Competition, among others. Most recently, she earned first place at the Brockton Symphony Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition. Eunha is a recipient of the US Chopin Foundation Scholarship, and she is a winner of the 2025 National YoungArts Competition.

As a winner of various competitions, Eunha has performed at Merkin Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, and the Orvis Auditorium. As a first prize winner of the Chopin International Piano Competition, Eunha was also invited to participate in the International Chopin Festival (Lato z Chopinem) in Busko-Zdroj, Poland.

Besides solo piano performance, Eunha is an avid chamber performer through New England Conservatory’s Chamber Intensive Performance Seminar (CHIPS).  She is also a member of The Back to Bach Project, helping make accessible arts education to young children by engaging in interactive performances in the community and mentorship opportunities.  Eunha also gives her time freely to local community events through Boston Cares.  Eunha currently studies with Professor HaeSun Paik at the New England Conservatory.
